Topics to Talk about with Shenzhen Women
You want to make a good first impression. But you don’t know what to talk about. You might not be sure what questions you can ask without being considered rude or inadvertently making the conversation uncomfortable.
Fortunately, it’s not hard. Shenzhen women aren’t scary once you get to know them. You can ask basic questions.
For example, “what’s your name?” Or “which part of China are you from?”
Shenzhen women will happily chat with you. But what if the conversation dries out? You could end up in an awkward situation.

About her childhood
A good way to break the ice is to ask about her childhood. You can ask her what activities she enjoyed as a child, the home environment she grew up in, or what her parents were like growing up.
You might be surprised to realize you have a lot in common growing up. You can share stories and even make a few jokes. This train of questioning can help remove the awkwardness during the first date.
Additionally, she’ll feel you’re genuinely interested in her and your conversation can give you clues as to what kind of personality she has.
Food culture
As you may have noticed, food is important to the Chinese people. Many provinces in China have their own food specialty cuisine, their own food history, and even their own method of preparing meals.
Asking her about her province’s local and variety specialty dishes is a safe topic to break the ice. She’ll be happy to share her food culture with you and who knows, the conversation might end up with the two of you going out for dinner.
Chinese pop culture
If she’s someone from a younger generation, then talking about Chinese pop culture is definitely a topic you can talk about.
Talking about well-known Chinese celebrities like Jay Chou and Dilraba Dilmurat is always a good topic for an interesting conversation.
You can also ask her what kind of movies she’s interested in? Who’s her favorite Chinese music artist? What kind of songs does she like to listen to?
Topics you don’t talk about with Shenzhen women
- Sex. Unless you’re already her boyfriend, it’s considered rude and inappropriate to talk about this topic. You might also ruin your chances of making a good impression.
2. Politics. You might run the risk of offending her about complex political topics. Whatever your opinions, politics is never a good topic for a first conversation.
3. Money. In Chinese culture, money-related questions like asking about her salary are considered rude and offensive.
Despite China’s rising economic growth and increased shift towards modern technology, many of its people still hold a traditional view towards certain topics and retain their old culture.
But this doesn’t mean you can’t talk about it with Chinese women ever. As you get to know her better and eventually become friends, these topics can be another way to start an interesting conversation.
