As time passes, we tend to envision lifelong plans, and that includes how we handle our relationships.

Most of us don’t date just to have romantic partners; we date to marry.

Everyone believes that in this modern era, relationships should not be taken for granted. We are expected to do our part to make a relationship last.

As such, why be in one if you have no long term intentions at all?

The advent of technology has affected how most people see love. With that being said, many of us find it easier and more convenient to look for potential partners.

But that is not how a person with real and pure intentions deals with affection, especially in the Philippines.

Couples in the Philippines maintain their affection and romance towards each other through surprises, enjoying activities together, and talking about future plans.

After spending years together, most of them start to plan for a grand, intimate Filipino wedding.

According to the Philippine Statistics Office, there were 431,972 registered marriages in 2019. The majority of these unions were held at CALABARZON, NCR, and Central Luzon.

These figures are great indicators that Filipinos take their relationships seriously and dream of a lifelong romantic partnership.

As a predominantly Catholic nation, a traditional Filipino wedding follows a conservative and Catholic ceremony from the start of the proposal until the wedding day.

One of the important aspects of the matrimony is the venue, where the rituals and readings take place. It is customary for a wedding ceremony to be celebrated with a holy mass.

Considering that the Philippines is a multicultural country, the wedding customs depend on the cultures both the bride and groom practice.

One of the facts about marriage in the Philippines is that it can be solemnized through different types of ceremonies aside from being officiated in the Roman Catholic church. It can be done through a civil ceremony, and it can also be performed through other religious rites.

A lot of modern couples wish to hold their weddings in locations with scenic views such as beaches and gardens. However, nothing still beats the solemnity and blessing of a classic church wedding.

So here is a list of churches in the Philippines that are known to have the most intimate and amazing weddings.
